The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) has reportedly sacked after dissolving its Lagos State council following his suspension.
The National Administrative Council of the union announced the development in a statement titled ‘Dissolution of Lagos State Administrative Council’, jointly signed by its national president, Alhaji Tajudeen Baruwa, and general secretary, Alhaji Kabiru Ado Ya’u.
According to the NURTW, the decision was based on the provisions of the union’s constitution and Seyi Bankole, the union’s secretary in Lagos State, was announced as the new head of NURTW in Lagos.
“MC Oluomo has been sacked as Lagos chairman. We had a meeting last night. We have replaced him,” a national officer of the union said.
This development elicited several mixed reactions on social media where people express worry over the well-being of MC Oluomo’s side chicks.
While some were happy MC Oluomo’s reign is over, some were of the opinion it would affect his ‘sugar babies’.
