Off the Map Actress Valerie Cruz Is Engaged!

Another day, another engagement!

Valerie Cruz — who next appears on ABC's Off the Map, premiering January 12 — is joining Reese Witherspoon, Natalie Portman and other actresses who debuted new bling over the holidays.

"It just kind of happened at Christmas," Cruz, 34, tells Latina.com of the proposal. Though she doesn't name her hubby-to-be, the Cuban beauty says their relationship has been nothing short of amazing.

"He's English and he's from London, so it's an interesting journey," she explains. "Cultural differences — they are definitely vast in some ways. But I think that Europeans in general have a more global view of the world because they are in such proximity to other countries that it enables them to travel and see other parts of the world."

With wedding plans already in the works, the actress — who has also appeared on True Blood and Dexter — says she's looking forward to one day starting a family.

"I definitely want at least one [child] because I would love to have the experience of giving birth," she says. "And then I would like to maybe adopt some others."
